Selecting Your Default Settings


If you have access to online directories or you are using locally installed directories, a Welcome screen appears the first time you launch the electronic directory. You can select a default directory and section from that screen. If you access the directory from a local connection, such as a LAN (Local Area Network) or an Intranet, your system administrator has selected a default directory and section for you. Your default directory and section appear each time you launch the electronic directory.

You can use the "Options" window to change your default directory settings. With this window, you can also decide if you want the "EZ-View" window to always appear when you launch the electronic directory, and what size you want the window to be. The first time you launch the electronic directory, the "EZ-View" window is not active. Enlarging the size of the "EZ-View" window also enlarges the size of the text that displays in the window.
